Koharu no Chichi or Koharu's Dad is the father of Hidaka Koharu and a minor character in both Hi Score Girl and Dash

Appearance[]
He has gray, slightly long hair always sporting glasses with swirls on them. He usually is always wearing a light blue buttoned shirts with a green vest over with red-brown pants and brown shoes
Personality[]
He seems to be a energic, layback family man. Giving Hidaka a lot of freedom and willing to buy her things to make her happy, he also a very hard worker and cares about her family
Story[]
Hi Score Girl[]
His first major appearance is in the whole Christmas party thing were before Haruo and Hidaka intended to head to the Christmas party he rushes to the scene were in the manga he has the new King of Fighters 94', and in the anime he brings newest Street Fighter II game, he installs it into the cabinet while were Haruo stays so he can see.
His next appearance is in round 5 were he tells Koharu that her "boyfriend" is outside playing games in the blizzard.
His last major appearance is were he buys Hidaka the SNES so she can help Haruo come over her house and play games with her and later is the person she tries to play co-up with were along side his daughter, learns that Final Fight for the SNES is incapable of co-op play.
After this he usually only appears in backgrounds and is time to time mentioned by Hidaka.
Dash Spin-off[]
He makes a camo in 1-Credit: Dash were Hidaka comes back home and he is helping a customer.
Relationships[]
Hidaka Koharu[]
He seems to have a very good relationship with his daughter, giving her freedom and time for herself, he also supports her hobby in video games and doesn't mind if she had a boyfriend. He also is willing to let her live under his roof even when she in her late twenty's.
Koharu no Haha[]
He seems to have a good relationship with his wife. They both care for their daughter also wanting the best for her.
Etymology[]
His family name, Hidaka, (日高) means "sun high" (as high as the sun).
