Walking home from his time at the arcade, Akira follows and then chases Haruo home giving him no reason as to why much to his dismay.

The following day at school, Haruo learns that Akira is afraid of scary things. This leads Haruo to realize that Akira was so afraid to walk home alone she followed Haruo. Later that day at the arcades, Haruo is challenged by Ma-kun. Haruo wins two matches against Ma-kun, but in the 3rd match throws the fight in order to avoid a physical confrontation. Done playing against the irascible Ma-kun, Akira sees Akira fight against Ma-kun and wins. So, his girlfriend Mi-tan challenges Akira and loses making her lose her temper. Soon, Akira arrives at the candy shop and Haruo figures why she's there is because of the two arcade machines. The games to choose from are Final Fight and Ghost and Goblins. Akira chooses to play Final Fight using Guy and due to the old lady's persistence, Haruo plays as well using Guy. While playing the game, Haruo learns that Akira likes to what's called "Alchemise" in the game to ascertain a high score. Once their game is finished, the pouring rain outside has subsided. Before leaving, Haruo buys two lollipops with the remainder of his money. He gives both of the lollipops to Akira and after he does is hit by a car driven by Akira's butler Jīya.
