The Toy Ring (おもちゃの指輪, Omocha no Yubiwa?) is a ring made of plastic that Yaguchi Haruo won from an arcade he went into with Ōno Akira.
Haruo later gave the ring to Akira as a parting gift when Akira left Japan to study aboard. Akira treasures it since then and made it into her pendant. She sometimes looks at it while being separated from Haruo.
Akira soon after before she went to study abroad again returned the ring, while Haruo thought it was to show that their relationship was over. Makoto visits, and Haruo runs off to the airport when he learns that Akira wants Haruo to bring the ring to her. At the end, Haruo tells Akira he loves her, and vows to visit Akira in order for her to become Haruo's wife.
